He holds undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Physics, a Masters Degree in Applied Mathematics (1976) from La Trobe University, Australia, and a doctorate in Theoretical Physics (1980) from the University of Southampton, England. In 1982, Dr. Gunther joined the famous Xerox Palo Alto Research Center where he spent eight years as a researcher. In 1990 Dr. Gunther joined Pyramid Technology where he held positions as Senior Scientist and Manager of the Performance Analysis Group. In 1994 Dr. Gunther founded Performance Dynamics Company.

Stefan Parvu

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Universitatea Dunarea de Jos, Galati, Romania. Between 2000 and 2010, Stefan Parvu was working for Sun Microsystems Finland, as a system engineer specializing on infrastructure design, performance analysis and capacity planning. He is a member of the ACM, USENIX and the author of SystemDataRecorder project and various other software packages and customer training classes.
